It only takes two weeks to update our Foundation Dogs® on a new variant of the COVID-19 virus and only takes 2 weeks to prepare a Foundation Dog® for a new virus once we determine that the new virus is not zoonotic (meaning it cannot infect a dog). How it works: 1. Top Tier K9 maintains an inventory of certified Foundation Dogs® (30-50 dogs on average) that are trained in tracking, scent detection, protection/apprehension, and advanced obedience. These dogs range from 14 months old to 2 years old and are of the breeds Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd, Dutch Shepherd, and British Labrador Retrievers. Other breeds are available through our certified affiliates including Rottweilers.

2. Buyers can select from our inventory of certified Foundation Dogs® based on their specific needs. Using world class project management processes, we work with the buyer and finish the Foundation Dog® to the buyers specifications. Because of the Foundation Dog® training, these dogs can be ready to deploy as Virus detection dogs, bomb/explosives detection dogs, executive/family protection dogs, police/military K9, or special security dogs in less than 8 weeks.

3. We train the buyer through our live online school and demonstrate the progress of the finishing program. 4. the buyer then comes to our Madison Florida location or sends their handlers for final bonding and scenario training/testing. The handlers leave with their finished K9 and are mission ready.

5. Top Tier K9 provides ongoing support and maintenance.
