It Starts October 5th

October 5th, 2024 begins the online training for those who want to acquire a Foundation Dog® training package from our current Litters On The Ground program. Each Saturday for 6 weeks you will learn how we train our puppies through Tier 1 certification. You will be able to watch the puppies going through their Foundation Dog® training, live, from 5 different states with 13 Master Dog trainers. What a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon!

2 Litters on the ground. Training begins October 5th 2024

There are 4 phases/tiers of Foundation Dog® training. Each tier has a test for certification of the dog. You will get to see 100% of our litters go through this process and the puppies test, Live on Zoom. Your participation and ability to acquire a dog comes with a $550 investment per Tier. You will learn how the dogs are trained and be equipped to manage your dog at the Tier participation level you choose. Each tier is 4 weeks of training and a certification test of the dogs that make it to the next highest tier.

Tier 1 certified Foundation Dogs® can be acquired based on the needs of the buyer in collaboration with the quality assurance staff at that time. Then it is on to Tier 2. Buyers participate in the process and are trained to manage the dog based on its Tier certification. Top Tier K9® (Tier 4) are those that are finished as service dogs, protection dogs, and special security dogs. Availability of dogs is based on contracted purchases of training packages prior to completion of a Tier. There are currently 13 contracts with the availability of 8 more (as of 9/18/2024)

You don't get to "choose" a dog based on how it looks. We DO NOT sell puppies. You get a dog based on the competency of the dog in its trained and certified tier level based on our evaluation of the dog and of you as an owner and your needs. All prices and processes are outlined on our website at:

This program is a fantastic opportunity for you to obtain working line dogs, trained and certified at a documented and tested Tier level of your needs and the ability of the dogs. Check it out. We will be offering this for Mals/Dutchies, GSDs, and Goldens. Mals/Dutchies are the current litters. GSDs are anticipated to begin their training at the end of March 2025. We plan at least 40 Mal/dutchies per year, 40 GSDs per year, and 10 Goldens per year. Prices are subject to change at any time before contract execution.
