2022 Top Tier K9 Master Dog Trainer Course Calendar

A Top Tier K9 Master Dog trainer has the skills to train pets, Foundation Dogs®, and finish Foundation Dogs® in at least 1 of the 3 finishing programs. In addition, a Top Tier K9 Master Dog Trainer has the skills to start and run a dog training business and to provide pet training services, pets plus services, Foundation Dog® training services, and services associated with their certified master’s skillset (Special Security Dog trainer, Protection Dog trainer, Service Dog trainer).

Top Tier K9 Certified Master Dog Trainers are recognized as some of the top dog trainers in the world and hold themselves to high standards of ethics and work quality. Certified Master Dog Trainers maintain annual, recurring certification requirements and are subject to inspections related to their training processes, business and accounting best practices.

Masters Program Calendar 2022

2022 - Service Dog Master Trainer program begins April 5, 2022

2022 - Protection Dog Master Trainer program begins July 12, 2022

2022 - Special Security Dog Master Trainer program begins October 4, 2022

2023 - Service Dog Master Trainer program begins January 10, 2023

To participate in a master’s program a student must be in good standing with Top Tier K9, and must have completed

Pet trainer and completed or progressing with a satisfactory rating in Foundation Dog® Trainer. To certify in a master’s program a student must be certified as a pet trainer, a Foundation Dog® trainer, be in good standing with Top Tier K9 and complete all requirements of the selected masters program.

Masters’ programs are designed to provide eligible students with the additional training necessary to successfully train dogs within the target markets of the selected programs, to sell/deploy dogs within that market, and provide the additional business needs to be successful in that market, such as legal considerations, sales, and customer relationship management.
